Primary Research Task: Use of Microscopy to Experimentally Study Nanoscale Architecture of Electrolyte/electrode Interface in Fuel Cells

Qianping He

I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering in 2006. Prior to my coming to UT, I was pursuing my master’s in chemical engineering from NC A&T State University.

As a third year Ph.D. student my research focuses on fuel cells. My major task is to use some experimental microscopy techniques and some modeling techniques to characterize the electrode/electrolyte interface in polymer electrolyte membrane (PEM) fuel cells.
