Pictured above is one of the twin ebulliometers used for the measurement of the vapor pressure of pure compounds in the pressure region from 10 mm Hg to 2026 mm Hg. Measurements are made of both the boiling and condensation temperatures simultaneously. Decane and water are used as standards for the measurement of the pressure in the apparatus. |
