August, 2007: Dr. Stephen Paddison has joined the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the University of Tennessee. Dr. Paddison's expertise lies in the area of fuel cell memembranes and includes investigations of polyelectrolyte structure, hydration of sulfonic acid groups, the relationship between polyelectrolyte architecture and proton conductivity through the membrane. His computational tool kit includes quantum mechanical calculations, molecular dynamics, and statistical mechanical models. It is a great pleasure to have him join the UT Computational Materials Research Group. |
